In support of Governor DeWine’s commitment to make Ohio a model in helping citizens overcome challenges, Nationwide Children’s Hospital is participating in the State of Ohio Adversity and Resiliency (SOAR) study led by Dr. Luan Phan and Ohio State University.

Our team is performing deep phenotyping on adults and teenagers in central Ohio to assess brain and other biomarkers of mental health and substance use disorders to help understand the root causes and potential resilience factors of these conditions.
